KauaiFun
LLC vessels
"Ikaika" & "Nuki"
Background
Kauai Fun is locally owned
and operated by Captain Gregg Baptiste of
Hanapepe, Hawaii and his family since 1992. The
Baptiste family provides a personalized tour
you'll never forget! Kauai Fun offers a high
speed 32 ft Catamaran "IKAIKA" and a
new 24 foot Rigid Hull Inflatable boat
"Nuki" with a unique design to provide
the best ride possible and optimal comfort.
Gregg started working in the
tour boat industry in 1977, and received his
coast guard license to operate small boats at the
young age of 18. After graduation from Texas
A&M Maritime Academy, he
spent 4 years in the Navy, and has been sailing
commercially for over 20 years. He is currently a
USCG licensed Master of Unlimited Tonnage Ships.
As Captain of commercial ships, he sails in all
parts of the world.
During his off time, Gregg is
doing what he loves best, cruising the Na Pali
Coast and sharing the history of his native home
Kauai on his tour boat charters. When the sea
caves are above water, youll be one of the
few to get an inside view of these geological
wonders. Captain Gregg, his brother Dave, and his
father Denis will immerse you in facts of
Hawaiian history on the Na Pali Coast and all her
magnificent legends. The Baptiste family, natives
of Kauai, love to share their personal
experiences on Kauai and her changes through the
years.
